Periodontology

What is Periodontology? (Gum Diseases)

Tooth roots are the main structures that allow the teeth to stay healthy and strong in the mouth, even if they are invisible.

In a healthy mouth, there are bones surrounding the tooth roots, fibrils that strengthen the relationship between tooth and bone, and the gingiva that surrounds and holds this pair from the outside. Damages in this system cause many problems and complaints. Gum disease, which can be classified under different names, basically starts with a simple infection in the gums and progresses in the form of gum, bone, and finally tooth loss.
